Carpet parquet
Carpet parquet grew in Belgium from the most traditional solid parquet floor. The name refers to “carpet”, whereby the parquet floor is as thin as a carpet. The thickness of this solid parquet floor is 6mm. This makes the parquet floor extremely well suited to floor heating. The length of the boards is something that you can dully determine yourself, with a range between 30 and 130 centimetres. The width has a range between 7.9 and maximum 14 centimetres.
Traditional parquet floor
Installation of a carpet floor takes place in the traditional manner. The wooden parquet boards are glued together and then bolted into place using small nails. Lastly, the nail holes are rendered invisible using oak.
